Former Manchester United forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has rained praise down on Paul Pogba revealing that the Frenchman can be the "best player in the world in his position".

Pogba has undergone a complete turn around of form since the take over of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer from Jose Mourinho back in December. The Frenchman was reported to have had a frosty relationship with Jose Mourinho which led to him being stripped of his vice-captaincy role and missed a couple of games including the Liverpool game which proved to be the Portuguese' last straw.

Speaking to The Mirror, Ibrahimovic lauded Pogba for having a thick skin to deal with off the field issues, "I think Paul Pogba has the potential to be the best player in the world in his position. He is a good guy, he trains hard, he listens, he wants to become better, he wants to win. He want to perform in every game.

"Things happening outside do not really bother him because when you are at that level, everyone will speak. Positive, negative, in between, everybody."
