Transfer rumours

Tottenham are preparing for a massive summer clear out with up to 12 players headed for the exit door, that's according to the Evening Standard

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is reportedly ready to splash the cash this summer to bankroll a new era at their state-of-the-art new stadium.

Kieran Trippier and Serge Aurier are thought to be among the big names on the list after struggling for form this season.

Trippier, who was a star performer for England at the World Cup in Russia, recently admitted his form has not been great this year.

“I could have done a lot better this season,” said Trippier.

“When we [Spurs] play on TV and stuff, I record the games and as soon as I get home — win, lose or draw — I watch it back.

“I’ve always done it, even when I was at Burnley. If I’m having problems, I speak to my older brother, who used to play professional football.

“Sometimes you get people who say, ‘You played really well today’, but you know as a player you were crap.

“My brother is brutally honest with me, he always has been, and he’s the first one I text after games.

“He has a nice chat with me and tells me how I did. He’s one I’ve always looked up to and I’ll always respect him for that.” told Sky Sports at the time.

The others on the list include; Vincent Janssen, Fernando Llorente, Georges-Kevin Nkoudou and Victor Wanyama.
