After being forced off with injuries in the 1-1 draw against Chelsea, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has provided injury updates on Marcus Rashford and Eric Bailly.

Bailly's return to the squad after over a month did not go as planned as he was stretched off with a knee injury and required lengthy treatment following a 68th-minute challenge. It remains a doubt whether the Ivorian defender will feature again for United this season with only two games left against Huddersfield Town and Cardiff City. Marcus Rashford also had to come off with a shoulder injury in the 65th minute.

Solskjaer provided injury updates on Rashford and Bailly in his post-match press conference, "Rashy, we strapped him up before the game. You could clearly see his shoulder got worse and worse and he couldn't run freely anymore. Eric, I think it's a bad knee injury. Hopefully, it's not the worst case, but I'm sure we won't see him more this season, unfortunately. And that just adds to the others we got against City. Anyway, we'll be ready against Huddersfield."
