Golden Arrows head coach Steve Komphela has suggested that he is not against the idea of a possible reunion with Gustavo Paez whom he worked with at Kaizer Chiefs before he was dismissed.

Komphela responded to a message from Paez thanking him for bringing him to Naturena and believing in his talent, he said that he would reunite with the striker or any of the other players he has worked with in the past.

"I'm touched by his message. Paez and I would talk about almost everything, from their struggle in his country to football. Maybe that's why he felt closer with me than any other person," Komphela explained.

"To me, football is a tool to drive certain objections in life. I'm all about changing lives and if the Almighty allows us to unite, let it be, he has a family to look after and I wish him all the best. He can't be a bad player overnight."

Komphela also made it clear that it's not only Paez he would work with again if given the opportunity.

"Any of the players I've worked with before, I still love them, I never fake my love for players even those we've released, the love will never die. I get into people's lives to leave a mark that's everlasting."

With the season coming to an end in two weeks, Komphela said Arrows will have a discussion to look at the season and then take a decision on movements of players.
