Liverpool's preparations for Tuesday night's Champions League showdown against Barcelona have been hit yet again after reports indicated that defender Virgil Van Dijk missed Monday's training.
This will be a huge blow for the Reds, who have already lost their talisman forward Mohammed Salah to an injury he suffered against Newcastle on Sunday in a Premier League match.
According to reports, Van Dijk and Oxlade-Chamberlain missed Monday's training, and may not feature for Liverpool in the crunch fixture.
The £75m acquisition from Southampton has been the main man for the Merseyside club and was recently crowned PFA Player of the year.
Reports suggested Oxlade-Chamberlain, who only returned from a long-term injury last week, may have sustained another injury while warming up on Sunday's match against Newcastle.
Speaking ahead of the clash, Jurgen Klopp said they will have to do without their key players in Salah and Firminho, but promised they will be ready for the challenge.
"Two of the world's best strikers are not available tomorrow night and we have to score four goals," said Klopp.
Liverpool lost their first leg 3-0 at the Camp Nou and will need to pull off a miraculous feat to reach the finals in Madrid.
