Atletico Madrid midfielder, Thomas Partey's agent, Daniel Jimenez has confirmed his client's release clause is set at a bargain of €50m.
Following impressive performances for Atletico Madrid this season, Partey has attracted a lot of interest from Manchester United, Inter Milan, and Arsenal. The Ghanaian international was key to Madrid conceding only 27 goals this season which was the least by any side in LaLiga, seven less than champions Barcelona.
In an interview with Passione Inter, Jimenez revealed that Inter had not made any contact with his client but revealed Partey's release clause, "I can say that right now, I haven’t talked to anyone, even if Inter are a top club. There’s a €50m release clause in his contract, a figure that’s cheap for a player like Thomas. We’ll wait for the season to end and then we’ll see.”
Partey, however, has a contract with Atletico Madrid till the summer of 2023.
