Olivier Giroud has signed a one-year contract extension with Chelsea which will keep him at the Stamford Bridge until the end of next season.
The former Arsenal man has struggled for regular game time this season but has helped his side to reach Europa League finals, being the top scorer after netting 10 goals.
“I am very happy to sign a new contract. I really wanted to stay at least one more year - I have felt a part of the team, the family, since the beginning and hopefully, there will be more trophies to come,” he told Chelsea’s official website.
