Nigeria Professional Football League side Lobi Stars have targeted winning the league in memory of their recently deceased coach Solomon Ogbeide.

Prominent club leader Ebube Duru told the media that the Ortom Boys have already accomplished Ogbeide’s first ambition to make the Super Six.

“It is a big loss but we want to continue from where he stopped,” Duru told Brila. “His dream was to play in the Super 6 and make sure we lift the trophy and that’s the legacy he left us, and we pray to achieve that.”

As reported on Futaa, Ogbeide suddenly passed away after a short illness early this month.

“Though we are still mourning our coach, it has also given us the extra moral to fulfill everything he wanted for Lobi Stars and make sure we fulfill them for him so that his soul will be happy where ever he is,” Duru summed up.
