Ivory Coast head coach Ibrahim Kamara has named his 2019 African Cup of Nations provisional squad and has included former Manchester City forward Wilfried Bony.
Having spent the end of the season on loan at Qatar's Al-Arabi, where he scored five goals in their final seven league matches, Bony was released from his parent club Swansea City after the campaign drew to a close. Coach Kamara has an attacking array to choose from with Max-Alain Gradel, Aston Villa's Jonathan Kodjia, Maxwell Cornet, Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha, and Nicolas Pepe all on the list.
The biggest blow for The Elephants will be an injury to Eric Bailly which ruled him out of the tournament. The central defender suffered ligament damage while playing for Man United back in April.
