Premier League side Arsenal is keeping tabs on Russian youngster striker Fedor Chalov.
The Gunners are not the only team chasing for his signature as they face competition from Monaco and Sevilla who are also keen to land the 21-year-old. Chalov grabbed a goal against the north London club in the last season’s Europa League quarter-final with CSKA Moscow in the second leg.
Previously, he’d hit the headlines after scoring the opening goal as CSKA humbled then European champions Real Madrid 3-0 at the Bernabeu. Before turning 21 in April he was called up to the national team, making his debut against Belgium in March in a UEFA Euro 2020 qualifier. He has three years left on his present contract.
The Russian striker emerged as the top scorer of Russian Premier League last season after netting 15 goals in 30 appearances for Moscow.
