Sampdoria have rejected Arsenal’s £43m bid for duo Joachim Andersen and Dennis Praet.

The Gunners are keen to reinforce ahead of next season after missing out on Champions League football and Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting Sampdoria have turned down two bids from Arsenal. For the north London side to acquire the services of the pair, the club will have to part ways with £50m.

Danish centre-back Andersen enjoyed a breakthrough season in Serie A in 2018/19, while Belgium international Praet impressed in midfield for Marco Giampaolo’s side.

Anderson is valued at €30 million and Praet at €25 million and talks between the clubs are still ongoing.
