Zoo FC midfielder Danson Chetambe has thanked his former employers for the time and support they accorded him after sealing a move to league rivals Bandari FC.

Chetambe joined Bandari on Tuesday and in a stamen on his Facebook account a day later, the midfielder had good works for Zoo who had to accommodate him for the past five years.

The player singled out club owner Ken Ochieng as someone who supported him in his footballing career and wished the team all the best in future assignments.

Chetambe said: “It has been great five seasons in this great team. It has given me the experience despite the ups and downs and for sure it has been more than a family to me. I have learnt a lot from the junior and senior players.

“But it comes a time where we have to take new challenges but I still believe this club can make it going by the talent it has. I know they will be up to the task in future endeavours.

“I thank the management and all the players for the good work over the years and the boss Ken Ochieng who has been supportive in my career. I thank you and may the Lord reward your good deeds as you continue uplifting that team. #Zoombayaa #FcukZoo forever you'll be in my heart.

“For now, I join a new home in Bandari Fc and you will still have a great ambassador in me. Thanks to my family, friends, fans and all those who made this journey interesting.”
