Supercomputer predicts final 2019/20 English Premier League standings

14 Jun 2019, 08:00

Hours after the 2019-2020 English Premier League fixtures were released, a Supercomputer has predicted the final standings with Manchester City on course to win a hat-trick of titles.

Pep Guardiola's side look set to match Manchester United's feat of winning a hat-trick of league trophies as City enter the 2019/20 season as 1.71 favorites - an opening day fixture away to West Ham will get them off to a flying start having scored 12 goals in just three league games at the London Stadium.

Manchester City will, however, have it rough as they face two daunting spells that see a tricky winter period against Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal in November and December before playing the same sides again in another five-week period in the spring.

Burnley, Norwich, and Sheffield are tipped to drop to the Championship.
