Harambee Stars head coach Sebastien Migne is already planning for the next African Cup of Nations after their Monday loss to Senegal.

The 3-0 drubbing by the Alliou Cisse side dented Stars chances of qualifying to the next round with the Frenchman now forced to wait on results on the Tuesday games.

According to Migne, Stars attention more so for his young players now shifts to the World Cup qualifiers and the next AFCON.


“We will wait for tomorrow (Tuesday) to see what’s next. We have a few youngsters and we will prepare for the next tournament and the world cup qualifiers,” Migne is quoted by CAF.

With three points, Stars can still qualify for the next round should results go their way. They will hope that Ghana, Mali and Cameroon win their games.

Of the best second runners up, DR Congo has three points, Guinea is on four points and South Africa on three points.
