Kariobangi Sharks have completed the signing of striker Patrick Otieno from Nzoia Sugar FC the club has confirmed.

Otieno made his debut in the Kenyan Premier League last season after being roped from Bukembe High School and will hope he can add to his four-goal tally in his new surroundings.

Announcing the arrival of Otieno, Sharks said: “NEW SIGNING ALERT!

“We are happy to announce that we have signed Patrick Otieno from Nzoia Sugar. The winger joins us on a long-term contract. Karibu Patrick!”

Otieno becomes the third player from Nzoia to join Sharks in the past three years after the arrival of defender Tom Teka last season and Bolton Omwenga in 2017.

Otieno will have to fight for a place in the team together with Eric Kapaito, Sydney Lokale and youngster Kevington Machika.

Sharks are currently preparing to host English Premier League side Everton FC in the Super Cup encounter slated for Sunday 7 July at the MISC Kasarani.
