REPORTS: Dropped Gor Mahia defender off to Tusker

Dropped Gor Mahia defender Pascal Ogweno is on his way to Tusker FC according to sources close to the player.

The source says that Ogweno has been seen around Tusker FC offices with the deal being held due to Gor Mahia reluctance to hand the player the release letter.

The player found games to come by in his first season with Gor after joining them last season from Kariobangi Sharks; the player said to have attracted interest from Tusker then too.

Apart from Tusker, KCB FC is another team said to be interested in acquiring the services of the player who worked with their current head coach Zedekiah Otieno at Gor Mahia.

Of the clubs in the top flight. Tusker has decided to put their business under wraps with no new player confirmed thus far by the Robert Matano coached side.

Instead of adding new faces, Matano has included seven players from the club’s youth team in his preseason preps that is hitting its third week today.
