2016 Kenyan Premier League champions Tusker FC has acquired the services of Nzoia Sugar FC captain Vincent Ngesa for an undisclosed period.

Ngesa has been a key member of the Nzoia team since they gained promotion to the Kenyan top flight in 2017.

The new faces in the Tusker preseason preps have been those of their youth players they wish to promote to the first team should they impress.

Silas Ogana

Among those players are is former St. Anthony’s captain Silas Ogana who at one point had a football scholarship in the United States of America.

Tusker is expected to lose players too with midfielder Tom Adwar having left the club for a football scholarship in the States. Boniface Muchiri is another target for clubs outside the country.

Tusker will begin their 2019/10 league season with a tie against defending champions Gor Mahia.
