Vuyo Mere and Edwin Gyimah are reported to be without clubs in the Premier Soccer League as the transfer window draws to a close.
The duo who used to ply their trade for Bidvest Wits until the wrap of the 2018/19 season have been told to not continue their training with Highlands Park according to KickOff reports.
"My brother nothing has been said yet regarding the two players," a reliable source told the publication's official website.
"Eish, it's a frustrating brother. These players really want to play football and the club is telling them nothing, my brother. They stopped training on Wednesday last week, and they said they were going to call them my brother, and you know what that means right?"
Highlands Park technical director Larry Brookstone and head coach Owen Da Gama could not be reached when they were approached to give clarification about the duo's current frustrating situation.
Veteran Mere was a regular feature at Wits during the 2018/19 season and managed to make 25 appearances across all competitions using his extensive experience in the game while Gyiamah just managed to feature five times.
