Bidvest Wits captain Thulani ‘Tyson’ Hlatshwayo has hinted his desire to leave the club amidst Orlando Pirates rumours.
Hlatshwayo, who has been at Wits for five seasons since joining from Ajax Cape Town, has told the media that he does have interest in moving to a new environment, a statement that is sure to sound like music to Pirates ears.
“I am comfortable at Bidvest Wits… The window is not closed yet so anything can still happen. I’m still contracted to Bidvest Wits, and everything lies with management,” the 29-year-old told journalists last night.
“Obviously I did make it clear that I want a new challenge, and obviously, like I said, the window is still open so anything can still happen,” concluded the Soweto-born defender.
It remains to be seen if Pirates will push on to eventually scoop the player that have targeted for several seasons come August 31st.
