Following a smooth transition from Crystal Palace to Manchester United, Aaron Wan-Bissaka has revealed that Axel Tuanzebe is his mentor at the club.
The English defender had an impressive debut for United in the 4-0 win over Chelsea as he helped his side to a first league clean sheet since February 24th. The 21-year-old also impressed in pre-season featuring in every game as United conceded only three goals.
In an interview with the Guardian, Wan-Bissaka revealed his mentor at United, "I’ve become quite close to Axel Tuanzebe since joining the club. He’s taken me under his wing a bit, though I must admit the whole squad has been looking after me.
"It has been really easy to come here and feel a part of things. Nobody’s left me out of anything; they all speak with me and interact and that’s really good. It’s been a huge help and I’d like to thank the fans, too, for giving us such support."
United face Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday 19th August in a 10 PM (EAT) kick-off.
