Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that a number of clubs are chasing the signature of Alexis Sanchez.
Sanchez started just 13 games for United last season and completed 90 minutes only once - in the season opener against Leicester. Inter Milan have enquired about Sanchez who is free to leave the club after Solskjaer deemed the Chile international surplus to requirements. The European transfer window closes on September 2.
Speaking in a press conference ahead of the Crystal Palace game on Saturday, Solskjaer provided a transfer update on Sanchez, "There are still talks with some clubs. But he played in that game and he played well, so as I've said he's working hard and let's see in September what's going to happen."
The former Arsenal forward started in a strong United team in their behind-closed-doors win over Sheffield United on Tuesday and that could turn out to be his last official appearance for the club.
