Paulo Dybala's agent has claimed hit back on Manchester United as rumours sufficed that the club dropped out of a bid for the player maker due to his wage demands.
Jorge Antun, the player’s agent has now claimed that the stories are baseless and the collapse of the deal was due to issues between Juventus and Manchester United.
Asked whether negotiations were skipped with Manchester United, Antun told Tuttosport: "I did speak to the British, but the stories about the commission were not true. There were simply issues between the two clubs."
The Argentina international was targeted by the Reds after his future in Turin became uncertain, with the Serie A champions willing to listen to offers for the former Palermo man.
Dybala was seen as the perfect player to boost United's firepower in the final third, but an agreement couldn't be made between the two sides.
Tottenham also registered an interest in the 25-year-old on deadline day, but just like United, their deal collapsed.
Paris Saint-Germain is believed to hold an interest in his services, but Antun suggested the rumours were wide of the mark.
