Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has described Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi as an aggressive marker.
Guardiola admits that Ndidi's aggression and hunger to recover the ball stands him out.
The Nigeria international won 131 aerial battles, 144 tackles and 324 recoveries more than any midfielder in the league last season.
The 22-year-old posted a video on Instagram where Pep was seen describing him.
“Name an aggressive marker always hungry to win the ball like he does and I’ll wait, “Pep said in a video uploaded by Ndidi on his Instagram status page.
The 22-year-old missed the Foxes’ Premier League win away at Sheffield United last Saturday and their second-round Carabao Cup clash against Newcastle United on Wednesday due to a hamstring injury.
He is expected to be back for Saturday’s clash against Bournemouth according to his coach Brendan Rodgers.
