Victor Wanyama is set to join Club Brugge after the Belgian side and Tottenham agreed a fee in the region of £12m, according to reports.
The Belgium club have been chasing the midfielder and were said to be finalising the deal before the European Transfer window closes.
The Harambee Stars captain has been deemed surplus at the London club, especially after the summer strengthening in midfield with arrivals of Tonguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso.
The club also boasts of more midfield options in Harry Winks, Moussa Sissoko and Eric Dier, who are all thought to be ahead of Wanyama in the pecking order.
The former Southampton and Celtic man has started just 47 Premier League games for Spurs since joining from the Saints for £11.5m in 2016, with his progress heavily affected by recurrent injuries.
It was earlier in the week reported that Wanyama was waiting to see if Brugge qualifies for the Champions League before signing, and they achieved that after beating LASK Linz.
Brugge have been placed in Group A alongside Real Madrid, PSG and Galatasaray.
