Watford came from two goals down to hols Arsenal to a 2-2 draw in an entertaining Premier League match hosted at the Vicare Road on Sunday 15 September.
Watford had a brilliant start to the game but was done by some poor decisions in the opposition box a fact that was to cost them in the 21st minute.
Aubameyang with virtually what was his first touch was to put Arsenal into the lead. The Gabonese was to apply a brilliant finish after a good pass from Kolasinic but Watford was up in arms claiming Hughes had been fouled prior to the goal.
Even before Watford could settle, Aubameyang doubled the visitors lead in the 32snd minute after some nice display. Ozil who was making his debut this season applied some defense-splitting pass to Maitland Niles with England right back sliding the ball in the path of Aubameyang who made no mistake as Arsenal went to the break two goals up.
A goal back
Watford was not going to relent at home and was to pull a goal back eight minutes after resumption through Tom Cleverly. The former Manchester United took advantage of some erroneous act from Sokratis in the six-yard box to slot past Leno.
Watford kept on pressing and after a series of changes from both ends, they were to restore parity in the 81st minute. A quick move by the home side saw substitute Pereyra brought down in the box by David Luiz; up stepped Pereyra himself to restore parity.
Being on the up, the home side were to miss a glorious chance to take the lead with Deulofeu missing the target by a whisker.
