Napsa Stars maintained impressive start to the season as they beat Lusaka dynamos 1-0 to record their third win in a row while Nkana suffered their first defeat at home losing 3-2 to Mighty Mufulira Wanderers.
At Nkoloma Stadium, Thomas Banda scored a first-half goal to help the coach Muhammad Fathi tutored side to their third win of the season. The win takes the Pensioners to second on the log with 9 points tied with leaders Zesco United who have a better goal difference.
For Lusaka dynamos the loss means they drop to 13th place with only three points to their name.
At Nkana Stadium, Mighty Mufulira Wanderers shocked twelve-time Super League Champions Nkana beating them 3-2 to move out of the relegation zone.
Ghanian striker Kwame Attram scored a brace while Davis Kamanga chipped in with a lone strike to lead Wanderers to their first win of the season. Idriss Ilunga Mbombo and Obed Masumbuko scored a goal each but it was not enough as Nkana suffered their first loss of the season.
