Zesco United needed a late own goal to seal their CAF Champions League group stage qualification as they beat YANGA 2-1 on the day and 3-2 on aggregate.
Zesco United came into the match with an away goal advantage having forced a one-all draw away in Tanzania. Kenyan striker Jesse Jackson Were put the team ya Ziko in the lead in the 24th minute after dominating play.
However, the tables turned quickly as Patrick Sibomana netted just six minutes after Jesse Were had put the hosts in the lead. With the match tied at 1-1 and only twelve minutes left to play Abdulaziz Makame put a Quadri Kola cross into his own net, 2-1 the match ended.
Zesco United have since qualified to the group stage thanks to a 3-2 aggregate scoreline.
