Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko are out of the CAF Champions League.
Kotoko traveled to Tunisia with 2-0 first-leg lead - only to get shattered with a 3-0 defeat late on Sunday evening.
A Karim Aribi brace and a Ben Ahmed spot-kick sealed a win for Sahel in the second leg fixture at Stade Mustapha Ben Jannet in Monastir.
The aggregate score of 3-2 meant the Porcupine Warriors won’t be seeing any CAF Champions League group stage football this season.
But the CAF dream is not all over. The Porcupine Warriors will drop into the CAF Confederation Cup where they will enter the tournament in the play-off stage.
