Gor Mahia head coach Steve Pollack has benched attacked Nicholas Kipkurui in their rescheduled league tie against Nzoia Sugar slated for Wednesday 2 October.
Kipkurui was one of the players who started Gor's Sunday loss at the hands of USM Algers in the CAF Champions League but Pollack has decided to relegate him to the bench together with keeper Fredrick Odhiambo.
A chunk fo the squad is virtually the same with the defence of Wellington, Maurice, Joash and Geoffrey remaining the same.
In place of Kipkurui, Pollack has tasked Ghanaian Francis Afiriyie to lead the attack with Dickson Ambundo the other player making way for Clifton Miheso in the wings.
The Midfield Battle
Tobias Otieno will be the man tasked with protecting the defence as Lawrence Juma who will be in familiar grounds having featured for Nzoia before moving to his current station partnering captain Kenneth Muguna in midfield.
