Zambian striker Fashion Sakala was on target again in Belgium for his Club KV Oostende but it was not enough as they suffered a 3-1 defeat away at Waasland-Beveren.
Sakala opened the scores in the 14th minute to put the KustBoys in the lead after finishing off well-worked KV Oostende counter-attack. The hosts then dominated the match with five crazy minutes bringing them back into the match and then taking the lead.
Defender Kevin Vandendriessche first put the ball in the back of his own net in the 33rd minute before Andreas Wiegel could take the lead just five minutes later.
Aleksandar Vukotić headed home a corner kick 14 minutes into the second stanza to double the hosts lead. Oostende pushed to try and find their way back but Waasland-Beveren held on to win the match 3-1.
Zambian midfielder Emmanuel Banda's absence in the team has continued as he was left out of the matchday squad.
