Lille coach Christophe Galtier has admitted that the coaching crew depend on Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen for goals.
Osimhen joined the Ligue 1 outfit in the summer and took off nicely, scoring brace in each of his first two matches.
The 20-year-old has now scored seven goals in ten appearances including the UEFA Champions League against Chelsea on Wednesday.
“It is impossible not to dependent on Osimhen? All teams are dependent on one or two players. This is how it is done everywhere,” he said during the official press conference.
“In all clubs we say ‘we need an attacker.’ We are lucky at the start of the season, to have a player like Victor score goals, even in situations where much chances isn’t created.”
Osimhen is in line to play for the Super Eagles in an international friendly against Brazil in Singapore on October 13.
