Super Eagles star Moses Simon is the talk of the talk in Nantes after grabbing a late winner over Nice last Saturday.
With his side desperately on the edge to find a winner at home to Nice, Moses nodded Abdoul Kader Bamba's perfect cross on 86 minutes for his second goal in seven Ligue 1 games.
The 24-year-old from Nigeria’s Jos took in resounding applause as he was replaced by Samuel Moutoussamy on 90 minutes.
The Moses-inspired win propelled his side to second place behind giants Paris Saint Germain. Nantes' next league outing comes after the international break away at Metz on 19 October.
Moses top three best seasons:
- 2013/14: Seven goals, three assists (AS Trencin - Slovakia)
- 2014/15: Six goals, seven assists (AS Trencin - Slovakia)
- 2014/15: Six goals, four assists (KAA Genk - Belgium).
Up next for the West African winger is Super Eagles duty. Gernot Rohr’s side will take on the mighty Brazil in an international friendly in Singapore next Sunday.
