Real Madrid could be sending former Tottenham Hotspur star Luka Modric back to North London in January according to various reports in the media.
However, Gareth Bale has been the talk of the football realm with the papers suggesting that he should make a return the club since he left but that may be highly unlikely.
According to Eldesmarque, as quoted by Sky Sports, Real Madrid have rekindled their interest in Christian Eriksen.
The report exclaimed that the La Liga side would consider offering Luka Modric as part of the swap deal further suggesting that Eriksen's days at Spurs could be numbered.
The 27-year-old Eriksen has managed to make approximately 11 appearances under the tutelage of Mauricio Pochettino this season.
He failed to commit to a long term or even short term at the club - the current contract is set to expire in 2020.
