Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has back Leicester City to finish in the top four when the English Premier League 2019/20 season wraps.
The sentiments come after Liverpool left it late over the weekend to record a 2-1 win over the Brendan Rodgers side; an outing that saw Leicester rise to fourth in the table with 14 points, a point behind Arsenal and two behind a faltering Manchester City.
Klopp further stated that the team should be ready to play twice in a span of a week as their rivals in the continental competition.
“I think Leicester at the end of the season will be in the top four and then they will realize how different it is when you play Wednesday, Saturday, Wednesday, Saturday,” Klopp said.
Leicester is angling to capitalize on the dwindling form of both Tottenham and Manchester United who have both had a terrible start to the season.
The team has one of the best-assembled squad in the league and many pundits believe they have the depth to match the big boys having won four of their eight games.
