Tottenham is interested in acquiring the services of Wolves defender Willy Boly this as reported by Football Insider.
Apart from Spurs, is believed that other top England sides and a series of other European clubs have been impressed by Boly but the former are the frontrunners in the race for his signature.
The Frenchman, 28, is on the radar of Spurs and multiple other Premier League and leading European clubs due to his fine displays for the Midlands giants.
The north Londoners have been impressed by Boly’s development since moving to Molineux in the summer of 2017 and have been following the progress of the defender who initially joined Wolves on a season-long loan from Porto that was made permanent after his starring role in their Championship-winning campaign.
Futures of Defenders
The transfer has been instigated by the uncertainties’ surrounding the futures of Toby Alderweireld, and Jan Vertonghen.
Boly turns 29 in February but he does have valuable Premier League experience and has the height and physicality that Tottenham have lacked this season.
The club is likely to be in the market for multiple centre-backs in January and next summer as Alderweireld and Vertonghen are both out of contract next June.
