Bandari falls in the hands of Simba in Tanzania

Kenyan Premier League side Bandari suffered a 1-0 loss in the hands of Simba SC in a friendly match held at Taifa Stadium on Saturday 12th.

Being the first friendly match for Bandari during the ongoing international break, Ibrahim Ajibu netted the only goal in the second half to hand the visitors the slim victory. Bandari had a host of chances in the first half but failed to convert them.

Former Gor Mahia midfielder Francis Kahata was dispossessed by Collins Agade just near the danger zone and the Bandari man unleashed a powerful shot that went inches away. Moments later, Meja delivered a lovely cross to Ochomo but his powerful header hit the post as the ball went out for a goal kick.

In the second half, Simba saw much of the possession, creating chances and passing around Bernard Mwalala's men. And in the 70th minute, the hosts finally got their goal and the only goal that made the difference thanks to Ibrahim Ajibu's goal who made a tap from a cross.

The Dockers will now head to Tanga to take on Coastal Union on Monday 14th in another friendly match.
