Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers says the club is fully supporting Jamie Vardy's family.
Last week Vardy's wife Rebekah was accused of leaking stories about Coleen Rooney to the press. Coleen claims Rebekah had been leaking stories from her private Instagram to The Sun newspaper, exposing her elaborate sting in a shock social media post last week - allegations the pregnant WAG resolutely denies.
"It’s something that’s personal and outside of our remit. All we ever offer is the support to all the players their families," Rodgers said.
"So obviously I was aware of what went on last week. I actually gave Jamie an extra few days to get away with his family, to have a rest, and I’m sure that was a difficult week for them as such."
"We’re here to support him, his family if they need, and I spoke to him earlier on in the week, he’s trained fine, he’s been great this week and that is where we’re at."
The Foxes will be up against Burnley at home on Saturday 19th in a Premier League match.
