πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¬πŸ“Έβš½πŸ† The 2019 Airtel FUFA Awards are officially launched

​The 2019 Airtel FUFA Awards will be hosted for a fifth year in a row at the Speke Resort Munyonyo in Kampala, Uganda according to Kawowo reports.

The awards are set to be held on Saturday, December 14 and the theme chosen for the night is "Celebrating Uganda's Footballers."

The official launch was held at Serena International Hotel in Kampala on Wednesday, October 16 where the event included guests such as Acting FUFA President Justus Mugisha, newly minted Uganda Cranes head coach Johnathan McKinstry to name a few. 

The Chairman of the Airtel FUFA Awards Organizing Committee, Rogers Byamukama also confirmed that there will be four new categories that will be introduced on the night.

The new categories are Airtel – FUFA Best XI 2019 (Women); Airtel – FUFA Women Football Coach of the Year; Best Squad (Club/National Team) of a particular Year; FUFA Member Associations’ Award and the Team Fans of the Year (FUFA Competitions).

Airtel Uganda have continued their sponsorship of the event and will be contributing Shs 100,000,000 to help the organization.
