Western Stima coach not impressed with draw against AFC Leopards

Western Stima head coach Salim Babu was not impressed after being held to a 1-1 draw by AFC Leopards on Saturday.

Stima had taken a half time lead in the game through Baron Jobita only to see Leopards restore parity late on and according to Babu, they had come to Machakos for the three points and not one.

“We came here for a win and I think we generally played well.  We even took the lead and had numerous chances to extend it but that didn’t happen. I’m not happy with the result and we will have to win our next game to cover for today,” Babu said after the game.

Poor Finishing

The tactician believes that he was undone by poor finishing in the tie and promised to work on that front heading into their next clash.

“The only thing missing today was the goals because we played well. Every other department worked on well for us bar the strike force. We have to work on it and hope we can score more in the coming game,” Babu added.

Next for Stima is a home game against Bandari FC at Moi Stadium-Kisumu.
