Kariobangi Sharks head coach William Muluya revealed that the last-gasp goal conceded in the 1-0 loss to Gor Mahia was sweet as it builds hunger to win in their next clash.
Despite the low scoring encounter, both teams displayed quality football with Sharks losing concentration in the final minutes of the game, allowing Francis Afryie to score a 92nd-minute goal. Sharks have had a poor start to the season winning only one game, a run that leaves them 14th on the log with six points from six games.
Speaking after the loss to Gor, Muluya termed the defeat as sweet, "I will not say it is painful but sometimes it is sweet to lose in the last minute because it makes you stay woke in the next match, I believe that if we played well for the 90 minutes then we would not have to wait for the last minute to lose the game."
Sharks next travel to face Nzoia Sugar on Saturday 26th October hoping to get their second win of the season.
