UCL: Salzburg boss anticipates a tough clash against Napoli

Redbull Salzburg head coach Jesse Marsch is expecting a tough match when his team hosts Napoli on Wednesday evening at the Redbull Arena.

The Austrian Bundesliga giants gave defending Champions a scare at Anfield as they came from three goals down to level matters before finally losing 4-3. Marsch believes his team learned a lot from the trip to Anfield.

"Our young team is fearless. We have learned a lot from the Liverpool match and it's always great to play at home. I expect a brave performance tomorrow," he said.

"The way Napoli play is similar to when we faced them last year. It'll be very difficult for us but we are ready for this moment, and it will be very enjoyable for us."

The United States of American born gaffer is warry of the threat Napoli's pacey forwards pose in tomorrow's match.

"Napoli have three quick attackers and tall strike options too. They have a lot of flexibility. It won't be easy but we have to be ready for their speed and individual players with discipline and concentration," he said.

"I've seen all the wonderful things Ancelotti has done in football but it's not me against him tomorrow, it's a moment for our team," he added.

Salzburg is third on the Group E log with three points while Napoli leads the way with 4 points after two games. Kick-off for the match is set at 21:00.
