Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea missed Manchester United Wednesday morning training ahead of their Europa League clash against Partizan Belgrade.
De Gea walked off while on international duty with Spain against Sweden last week but was able to play in Sunday's 1-1 draw with Liverpool with his absence on Wednesday not explained by Solskjaer.
He joins midfielder Paul Pogba among the players who missed the Wednesday session with the Frenchman having been spotted in Dubai doing some extra work.
In the session, only Sergio Romero, Lee Grant and Matej Kovar were present in the goalkeeping training with Romero expected to be in between the sticks for the Europa League tie.
There was some welcoming news as Jesse Lingard took part in the session at Carrington before the squad flew to Serbia for Thursday's match.
Apart from Pogba and De Gea other players who missed training on Wednesday were defender Diogo Dalot, Luke Shaw, Nemanja Matic, Tim Fosu-Mensah, Axel Tuanzebe, and long-term absentee Eric Bailly; Shaw and Matic too have traveled to Dubai to take part in warm-weather training.
Tuanzebe added to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's injury woes when he withdrew from the starting XI to face Liverpool at Old Trafford with a hip problem.
Anthony Martial and Aaron Wan-Bissaka were also involved after featuring at the weekend, as was Phil Jones after he made his return to the substitutes' bench.
With the injuries, Solskajer invited academy full-back Ethan Laird in the Wednesday session.
