Zesco United will be aiming to go top of the table when they welcome Mighty Mufulira Wanderers at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on Independence Day.
The defending Champions are coming from a 3-1 bashing of Green Buffaloes and are yet to drop points. Should Arrows fail to beat Kansanshi Dynamos and Zesco United manage to make it six wins from six games they will move to the summit.
Mighty Mufulira Wanderers have lost five of their six games played to so far and sit second from bottom with only three points to their name.
The last time Mufulira Wanderers visited Levy Mwanawasa Stadium, Zesco United handed them a humiliating six nil bashing and they will need to work really hard to avoid a similar embarrassment.
Zesco United are the favorites and have a number of players who can win the match for them. Winston Kalengo rolled back the years last weekend as he netted a hattrick to guide the Ndola giants to a 3-1 win. Jesse Jackson Were has already notched up four goals while Ugandan forward has a goal registered in the league. Mufulira Wanderers will have to somehow find a way to stop all those players who can hurt them at any given time.
