Crystal Palace have reportedly landed £22.5million after they had sold an instalment owed on the deal that secured Aaron Wan-Bissaka's move to Manchester United according to Evening Standard.
Palace sold Wan-Bissaka for a whopping club-record fee of £50million in June 2019, however, despite United having paid part of the fee upfront, £22.5m was still owed and expected in full on July 1, 2020.
The Eagles have reportedly decided to sell the instalment to Australian bank Macquaries instead of waiting for the funds, meaning that the bank will loan the £22.5m and then proceed to take the money from United in approximately nine months.
Crystal Palace are set to take on Arsenal on Sunday at the Emirates Stadium - they will meet Leicester City, Chelsea and Liverpool thereafter.
