Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has left his future in the hands of his Ligue 1 club - Lille as interests from top European clubs continue to grow.
Osimhen is considered a top target for Barcelona, who are looking to replace ageing Luis Suarez, while Arsenal doesn’t seem convinced by Nicholas Pepe and want an Osimhen who they believe has more tenacity in front of goal.
In an interview with French magazine/website, foot-sur7 Monday, Osimhen stated: "I had confidence in myself and the experiences in Wolfsburg and Charleroi helped me. The most important thing was to play fast.
“I’ve always been ready to take the stage … If big clubs look at me, it’s great for me. But I am well in Lille. The club will decide if I stay or leave. I will not object.”
The 20-year-old has scored nine goals in 17 matches across all competitions for top club, Lille, with two assists to his name.
