Argentinian midfielder Lucas Biglia will reportedly not have his contract at AC Milan renewed ahead of the January transfer window, according to AC Mila - The Offside.
The former Lazio player joined Milan three seasons ago but it has emerged he is struggling to be a permanent feature in the starting lineup after being dealt with constant injury woes as well as stiff competition in the squad.
Midfielders such as Tiemoue Bakayoko and Ismael Bennacer have cemented their places in the squad and it seems like Biglia has been falling out of favour.
According to the report, the 33-year-old is one of the highest-paid players at Milan and the latter may be looking to cut down wages under Ivan Gazidis.
Biglia will be turning 34 in January and with the former struggling to impress, the club will see no hesitation in releasing him - his current contract expires in June 2020.
