Belgium ended their qualifying campaign with a 100% record after their 6-1 humiliation of Cyprus with Kevin De Bruyne and Christian Benteke grabbing braces.
Russia redeemed themselves following their 4-1 loss at home to Belgium last time out to beat the least ranked side in the qualifiers 5-0. There were five different scorers for Russia in the game as Nikolay Komlichenko, Daler Kuzyayev, Sergej Petrov, Aleksey Miranchuk and Aleksey Ionov were on the scoresheet.
