πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡³ Senegal's Alfred N'Diaye: Life after Wolves glory days

Senegal international Alfred N'Diaye is one player who has had one whirlwind career from his glory days of inspiring Wolverhampton Wanderers to Premier League promotion and not being handed a permanent deal.

According to Express and Star, N'Diaye has previously dealt with a blow of bankruptcy and the woes of not settling in a club which leads to lack of game time.

However, Saudi Arabia seems to be the place that has come to the rescue for the Senegalese midfielder after being handed a new lease of life in his football career.

The 29-year-old joined Al-Shabab in August 2019 on a three-year contract which was a right about turn for him after he was intended to join La Liga side Getafe - the reason for the move to Saudi Arabia is reportedly financial to help him in his personal life.

N'Diaye made 36 competitive appearances for Wolves and 33 of those were in the league - he found the back of the net for the side when they played against Barnsley and Queens Park Rangers and Norwich City respectively.

“I have enjoyed myself here (Wolves),” said N’Diaye.

“I think you can see I like the club, I think we are a good club. We have good fans.

“We had a fantastic season so everything is good for me here.

“My family are happy there, they like to live there, so I hope I can stay there.”

After his loan spell at Wolves, N'Diaye was recalled to Villarreal after the English club opted to not make his deal permanent but Villarreal were to send him out on yet another loan - Malaga was next.

He went on to score five goals for Malaga from 34 appearances in total, however, he was also booked 15 times during his time there.

However, as the saying goes, there is always light at the end of the tunnel and that is exactly what has happened for the Senegalese player who is now enjoying his football in Saudi Arabia.
