Mamelodi Sundowns’ legend coach Pitso Mosimane has began talking about his future as his contract nears conclusion.
With whispers that Mosimane is facing an internal pushout from Sundowns, the 55-year-old coach has come out to assure that club’s fans that his heart with the club.
"I want to stay. My heart and spirit is here. It is in that space where there are contract negotiations [taking place] of course," said Mosimane to Kick Off.
"I will never question if Sundowns want me to stay. The president has said it and has told you guys.”
"I am telling you I want to stay. I am not going to tell you 'I am thinking, I will see, and drag time, I don't know'.
The former Bafana Bafana coach then concluded to reveal that there is a need to agree on a new contract and that discussions are currently underway.
"I want to stay, but we need to talk about the contract. Negotiations are ongoing. There are people helping me with the negotiations,” Pitso concluded.

Meanwhile, Pitso could claim his ninth honour on Saturday 14 December when Sundowns take on Maritzburg United in the 2019/20 TKO final.
