Bayern Munich has been handed a major boost in their pursuit of signing Philippe Coutinho from Barcelona on a permanent deal.
Coutinho joined Bayern Munich from Barcelona on loan until the end of the season and could make a permanent move next summer. The Brazilian is valued at £100m and has admitted he would love to stay with the Bundesliga giants.
Bayern Munich’s hopes of making Philippe Coutinho’s loan from Barcelona permanent have received a boost.
“If everything fits, then I’d love to stay," Coutinho told Bild.
The former Liverpool man has adapted quickly to his new surroundings, netting three times and providing three assists in 12 league matches so far.
Two more assists have been registered in the UEFA Champions League to help Bayern into the knockout stages, and Coutinho is open to helping contribute to the record German champions' success in the years to come.
